People are questioning whether this water crisis was preventable and what the City is doing with our tax dollars.
Despite rising property taxes, complaints about services like snow removal, pothole repairs, basic maintenance, and infrastructure persist.
Clearly, there is an urgent need for a shift in priorities at City Hall.
Since the inception of Common Sense Calgary, more than a decade ago, we’ve been screaming from the rooftops for a return to prioritizing core services.
It's time for City Hall to listen.
Calgarians deserve reliable, efficient, and uninterrupted access to essential services that support their daily lives.
Prioritizing the maintenance and improvement of core infrastructure and services, such as water, sanitation, and roads, is the essential job of City Hall.
In fact, it should be the only job of City Hall.
Core services form the backbone of a functional and thriving city.
We must end non-essential projects that don’t directly benefit the majority of residents.
Our resources should be allocated where they are needed most, ensuring every dollar spent makes a real difference in our community.
Residents deserve to know their taxes are being used effectively and responsibly, with a clear focus on only the necessities.
No more chaos.
No more pet projects.
No more misplaced priorities.
It’s time for City Hall to get back to basics.

Where does our money go from our water bill that each household is charged a water service charge? Why doesn’t the money help us at all. Where has all of the money gone for infrastructure. No one is looking after our Infrastructure properly but at least she focuses on woke bullshit and climate change – that is sarcasm
She needs to stop getting on tv to give us updates in her perfectly cleaned hair and outfit to tell us to flush less, dont do laundry and dishes and how to shower. She just infuriates people as she talks to us in a condescending tone
