Defund Calgary Council
On Wednesday, 4th November, Council voted 9-5 to defund the Calgary Police by $20 million.

Now if Council was actually cutting wasteful spending within the Police budget then maybe we could get behind this.
But yesterday's vote wasn't even to cut spending, it was to simply transfer $20 million from the Police budget to fund more of Council's activist pet projects.
Calgary Council has completely lost the plot and is no longer representing the majority of Calgarians.

Let's Defund Calgary Council, not Calgary Police.

Look hard at all the candidates fellow Calgarians. We can not afford to have children fighting, we need good leadership! Not people who get upset when someone disagrees with them and kicks them out of council! Are you kidding me?!!!! And attacks this publication in their tweets? Who does that?
No accountability with some of these people. They should be welcoming hard questions because that is in part what they are elected to do. Answer truthfully and be accountable. Not hiding behind twitter ramblings and lies. Just because its tweeted does not make it true! We need good leadership and accountability, true accountability in these candidates. Not too many of our current ones offer that. Very sad where our supposed “leaders” have devolved into, or always were that way. Honesty is not embraced by some of these councilors. Shame on you liars! Shame on you!
Do your homework/due diligence Calgarians! Or we are not heading down a good road for our city.
