Defund Calgary Council

On Wednesday, 4th November, Council voted 9-5 to defund the Calgary Police by $20 million.

You can see how your Councillor voted here:

Now if Council was actually cutting wasteful spending within the Police budget then maybe we could get behind this.

But yesterday's vote wasn't even to cut spending, it was to simply transfer $20 million from the Police budget to fund more of Council's activist pet projects.

Calgary Council has completely lost the plot and is no longer representing the majority of Calgarians.

After begging for more money from the Provincial Gov and blaming and railing on them for not giving more $ for years Nenshi is now taking that money away to waste on crap that’s not figured out yet. As soon as crime gets out of control it’ll be someone else’s fault. Jason Kenny and Jeromy Farkas will be the scapegoats.

How can anyone take 90% of this council serious.
