This boondoggle must be stopped until at least after the next civic election so it can be looked at by a new council. The current crop of idiots must be voted out. Every one of them except Jeremy Farkas, must go. To even be remotely thinking about building this project in these times, and on the heels of the massive tax increase that homeowners are currently facing, is beyond belief. Why would we even consider the opinion of morons like we currently have on council, with no business experience, over a business leader liked Jim Gray? We’ve have a very serious spending problem in this city, and simple minded idiots like our current mayor simply have no clue what they are doing. They couldn’t run a popcorn stand let alone an enterprise the size of the City of Calgary. It is time that CALGARIAN’S WAKE UP!! Sleepwalking through another election simply will not cut it. We need to put some adults on council and move forward with destroying the hierarchy at city hall and TAKE OUR CIY BACK. Heads must roll starting at the top and running throughout the entire city establishment. Spending must be brought into line with reality starting with destroying union contracts and bringing common business sense back into the conversation. This nonsense has gone on for far to long!

Makes no sense to connect the north and the south. Build one if you have to

this project is far too expensive. The Bus rapid transit would be a much better solution and would see riders in a fraction of the time it would to build the green line.
